Universal rotary segmented valve with eccentric plug, combining the best features of linear and rotary control devices and offering high flow capacity, cavitation resistance, as well as a wide range and precision of control.

The operating principle of control valves, on-off valves, on-off and control valves is based on the rotational movement of a plug, designed as a ball segment, relative to the eccentric axis of the body.

The segmented section of the plug is flexibly connected to a hub mounted on the shaft, allowing for slight axial displacement. This enables self-centering of the plug within the seat. A tight fit of the plug is achieved through elastic deformation. The seat, equipped with a sealing chamfer, is secured in the body by means of a threaded retainer.

A spring-diaphragm pneumatic actuator, featuring a corrugated diaphragm and a return spring, rotates a plug through a lever mounted on the shaft splines, within a 50° range. This type of actuator is a standard design. Depending on project requirements, other actuator types can be supplied.

The equipment can be applied within a wide range of operating temperatures.

For all sizes, from DN 25 to DN 300, complete elimination of leakage to atmosphere is achieved by the use of additional elastomeric O-rings, installed in addition to the standard gland packing. This design meets the environmental protection requirements of various countries. In many cases, this eliminates the need for expensive bellows seals.

Flanged valves are available with steam jacketing. The circulation of steam in the heating jacket enables Series 35002 valves to be used with crystallizing and polymerizing media.

The 35002 series valve can be equipped with a fully enclosed manual gearbox. This design requires minimal effort on the handwheel and features a safety mechanism to prevent unintentional rotation due to vibration.

The 35002 series valve can be used as a reliable shut-off valve, allowing for tight and rapid pipeline closure. In this case the valve is equipped with limit switches, a three-way solenoid valve, or other required accessories. The standard actuator provides a travel time of less than 12 seconds. By modifying the sealing element, it is possible to meet the tightness requirements of Class A according to GOST R 54808.
