BB4 model: horizontal, multi-stage, between-bearing, segmental pump with a radially split casing, in accordance with API 610, type BB4. Designed for heavy-duty applications in oil refineries, petrochemical and chemical industries, and power generation.

The pump has been developed for such applications as boiler feed systems for power generation facilities (power stations), fluid transfer through pipelines, reverse osmosis systems, energy recovery, and CO2 injection.

Design features:

1. Forced-lubricated bearings. Each bearing housing is equipped with a mounting pad for vibration and temperature sensors.

2. Axial body mounting to improve resistance to thermal expansion.

3. Mounting/lifting lugs and other design features to facilitate assembly and maintenance.

4. Intermediate flange of various sizes and orientations.

5. Precision casting and machine finishing of diffusers ensures low radial loads on the rotor.

6. The inlet channel shape is designed to optimize flow uniformity and reduce the net positive suction head required (NPSHr).

7. Mechanical seal chamber according to API682/ISO21049

8. The balancing drum is press fitted on the shaft to minimize residual imbalance.

9. Precision casting of impellers for maximum prediction of flow and for hydraulic balance of radial load. Impellers are fitted with a shrink fit to prevent fretting corrosion and residual imbalance. The first-stage impeller is available with single or double suction.

10. Hard coating on all mating surfaces of labyrinth seals and balancing drum to increase service life.

11. Clearances and tolerances between the rotor and stator components ensure smooth operation during frequent start-stop cycles.
